Now Serving Young Professionals of Color Just Starting Their Careers And A Special Message From LL Cool J
Listen in:
Hey, this is Mike Ambassador Bruny with another Solo episode of No More Reasonable Doubt.
We are on a mission on help young professionals of color remove doubt and increase confidence so they can have more impact at work.
There has been a change or should I say, even more focus when it comes to young professionals of color. We are focusing on young professionals of color who are just starting their careers. So we are talking the 0-3 year mark in your career.
Here’s why?
When you first join the professional workforce there is so much that you don’t know that you don’t know.
We want to help both shed some light on things that will get you moving quicker and also be there when you discover that there is so much more to learn and how you THOUGHT things worked aren’t necessarily how they work.
That’s kinda like finding out you are living in the matrix; quite a blow to handle by yourself. Guess what? You don’t have to handle it by yourself.
So be on the look out for changes in messaging that is hyper-focused on working with Young Professionals of Color who are just starting their careers. Cool? Cool.

We were listening to LL Cool J’s, “I Need Love,” don’t judge, and discovered the words to articulate some of the things we really wanted to do to empower young professionals of color.
"When I'm alone in room, sometimes I stare at the wall and in the back of my mind I hear my conscience call."
~LL Cool J
That’s it. When there is no one around and the mask is removed, what is your conscience saying to you? Is it telling you that maybe THEY are right? Is it telling you maybe you AREN’T good enough?
Your conscience isn’t always right but it’s always pointing to something you need to pay attention to.
We are here to help…
- with tips to thrive those first few years on the job
- you build community
But most importantly we are here to help you with that self talk (or what you tell yourself when you’re alone in your room and staring at the wall and in the back of your mind you hear your conscience call).
We are here to give you the support you need to remember that you got this and you ain’t alone.
No need to carry the load alone when we have all these able bodied people here to help.
Here, let us get that for you. Take 5.
Thank you for being here. We’d love to send these kind of messages directly to your inbox so you don’t have to guess when it’s ready. It’s just the kind of service we provide and you deserve. You can visit bit.ly/nmrdsupport to subscribe. Thanks.
Our goal remains the same, to take young professionals of color who are just starting their career from invisible to invincible. Move forward, we got your back.
I’m your host Mike Ambassador Bruny and the dope beat you are about to hear to close the show is provided by Papa Doc. Peace.
